Where did you live before coming to St. Charles? We lived in Staten Island, New York, before moving to Port Charlotte, and we joined the parish in 2002.

Tell us a little bit about your family? I’ve been married for 48 years to my beautiful bride, Cathy, and we have raised 4 wonderful children.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in life? Live each day to the fullest, because you don’t know what tomorrow brings.

What do you love most about St. Charles? St. Charles is like a family. People truly care about one another.

Why is your faith so important to you? To have faith is to believe and love as Jesus did, and to know that Jesus

What ministries are you involved with at St. Charles? I am the President of the Legion of Mary, Spiritual Advisor at St. Vincent DePaul, Member of the Knights of Columbus, involved with Couples for Christ, Small Faith Sharing Group, Religious Education Teacher for 7th & 8th Grades, and I am an Adorer at least 10 hours per week.

What would you say to someone who is considering getting involved in a ministry at St. Charles? I would tell them to come and do God’s work. Share your love with others. Remember God doesn’t care how much you know, but he does want to know how much you care. St. Charles is a parish that cares.

Who’s your favorite Saint and why? Maximilian Kolbe. Because he gave his life for another. That’s what Love is all about.
