Where did you live before coming to Port Charlotte? We lived in Brooklyn, New York. I am married with two daughters. One is in the Air Force the other is a nurse.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in life?   Not to be discouraged.  Work hard and have faith that God will do the rest.  I may not always get what I want but God will provide me with what I need.

Why is your faith so important to you?  My faith is important to me because it gives me the strength and wisdom to live a happy and peaceful existence.

What ministries are you involved with at St. Charles?  I am a Sacristan, Funeral Assistant, Homebound & EME Minister, Counting Team member, Wedding and River Commons Mass set up coordinator.

What’s your favorite Scripture passage and why? Psalm 139:23, 24. “Search me O God and know my heart: Test me and know my houghts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” These two verses go together as one.  It performs a self-examination of what we are like in our heart, and it exposes what needs to be cleansed and made right in order to stand with God.

Who’s your favorite Saint and why?  I have more than one. St. Michael, who keeps the family safe. St. Faustina for sharing the mercy of God’s devotion with the world. St. Joseph, I love him deeply as the guardian of our Blessed Mother and Jesus here on earth.
